Hiya Sports Fans!

Yesterday the Hasbro Shipment arrived and the aftermath looked as if a “Transformers Hurricane” had hit my basement and dumped a whack load of Transformers there (in pristine condition of course :)

I had a lot of fun shooting the video, opening the boxes and showing all of you Transformers fans out there, as well as what the possibilities are for the Hasbro Prize Packages that my team is assembling! It was so much fun even my mum dropped in on the fun!

What I found was a mix of everything, from Generation 1 (for you ‘purists’ out there), Animated Series, and of course toys from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie.

Here’s a pic of the “Wall of Hasbro” that occupied my basement before the unboxing began

The aftermath..

The aftermath..

It took me a while to put this post up because I first uploaded to Youtube realizing they had a 10 minute limit and had to resort to Viddler.

Here’s Part 1:

aaaand Part 2:

Leave some comment love and let me know what you think of what we’ve got going on so far!

Cheers,

Will :)

PS anyone catch the 80s cartoon reference at the beginning?

I'm curious as to where and when you can donate Transformers toys. I'm going to be in Toronto June 17th and I can stop by Sick Kids as well. How long is this going on for? I can't find any information about it. Please help.
  • Hey Josh!

Thank you for asking! I'm not sure where you can donate toys, but I can look into it for you. Right now our focus is on the Launch Party, selling tickets for the Promotional Draw and the wrap up party. Tickets are $10 for 1, $20 for 3.

Where do you get the tickets? I guess launch party is June 24th, right?
  • hey Josh!

The Launch Party will be June 24th - details are still being worked out for that. We're working feverishly to get a "goodie bag" together for those who buy the early bird tickets :)

    Stay tuned!
  • bob
    how do you win prizes?
  • Hi Bob,

We are holding a promotional draw, where tickets are $10 for 1 and $20 for 3. You can buy the promo draw tickets at Scotiabank Theatre between June 24-28, 2009 in person or you can do it online where you get a tax receipt immediately and forwarding the email you received, so I can enter you into the draw.

The page is still being put up, so it'll be up by the end of the weekend!

    Cheers,

    Will
  • Very cool that Hasbro sent all those cool toys for such a very good cause. It's good to see that there are people that still care for others in these days and times. Oh and my favourite Transformers was Perceptor the Scientist (Microscope) from G1.

p.s. you wouldn't have had such a problem with the boxes if only you would of used a knife instead of the bottle opener you used! :p
  • Hey Perceptor!

Thank you for your kind words! Yeah, I don't know why I didn't think of that for my swiss army knife. Perceptor (with his English accent) was awesome! I saw that they were making a newly designed Perceptor after checking out some of the TF forums.

  • The Hasbro donations are amazing!

I can't believe how generous Hasbro has been with the initiative. It's really quite amazing. I know a lot of people are going to be happy 2x at the end of the month by helping out Sick Kids... And by winning some sweet swag!

I must admit, I only lasted until minute 7 of the unboxing video (it just started to get too "crazy" around minute 5).
  • haha, yeah, I should just edited it down but I lack the proper video editing skills.. I'll try and learn it over the next week or so.

I think it's absolutely awesome...and really there are no word to describe what your doing for Sick Kids! =) Sick Kids is close to my heart too! ;) If you need any help with anything...and I mean ANYTHING! don't be afraid to give me a call! =)
  • Thanks Katherine!

I'll be calling you later on :)
  • totally! :D
