Who are the “Coolest Transformers” exactly? While there isn’t a definitive list, the majority of us will tend to agree that the perennial favourites are the leaders of the Autobot and Decepticon factions, Optimus Prime and Megatron. We can pretty much agree that both of them are pretty friggin’ cool, but that leaves us with some Tranformers that come to mind immediately and some that are a little more obscure. The focus will be more on Generation 1 because I’m a fanboy like that
Keep in mind that this post is merely an approximation of who the coolest are.
The criteria for being selected into the Top 10 was solely based on their character and how awesome it would be to add them to a collection.
A quick update on what’s been going on as of June 7, 2009. Also a little bonus with a sketch that Udon Studios comic artist and formerly of Dreamwave Productions, who worked on the “Tranformers Energon” comic, Joe Ng! A bit of a sidenote, Joe Ng graciously donated his talents back in 2008, in designing the Transforming for SickKids “Empowered” logo that you see on the top left corner of each page
Check out Joe sketching a headsketch of a Generation 1 Megatron. Enjoy

I had a lot of fun shooting the video, opening the boxes and showing all of you Transformers fans out there, as well as what the possibilities are for the Hasbro Prize Packages that my team is assembling! It was so much fun even my mum dropped in on the fun!
What I found was a mix of everything, from Generation 1 (for you ‘purists’ out there), Animated Series, and of course toys from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie. Read the rest of this entry »
For those of you who were curious, here’s a Flickr Photostream (from beginning to end) of the campaign that myself and my team launched back in 2007. It took a lot of work, persistence as well as being supremely organized, but the end result blew away my expectations.
I wrote about my experiences in the original TFSK blog here. I’m vibrating with excitement in terms of what the team has in store and can’t wait to share with you all what surprises may be around the corner over the next few weeks!
Although I’m literally drooling over some of the prizes we have lined up for the Raffle, these prizes will find their way to their rightful owners once the Raffle event at Scotiabank Theatre wraps up…
Team still has a lot of work ahead, but we’ve got plenty more in store! Stay tuned!
